THE EVENT
Quatre Con is a fan based annual film festival and convention encompassing all aspects of science fiction, horror, supernatural, and paranormal in popular media focusing on writers, producers, artists, actors, and directors working in comic books, video games, films and television. The Convention is designed for everyone. There are ticket options that allow attendees to come for a day or the whole weekend.
QUATRE CON MISSION.
As producer of Quatre Con New Orleans (QUATRE CON EVENT) we work hand-in-hand with the non-profit organization(s) that are engaged in developing and providing aid for children’s charities to assist in obtaining their goals and funding needs. We plan to produce a net profit of at least $10,000 at our specialized event, the Quatre Con Film Festival and Conference. While working together with the non-profit organization(s) associated with Scares That Care, our team aims to reach and exceed their yearly goal of raising $10,000.
PROVIDING FOR THE (DISCRIMINATING!) MASSES…
Quatre Con enthusiasts can choose from a variety of creative and original works including sculptures, paintings, photographs, jewelry, costuming and more. An estimated $5.6 million of merchandise will be sold during the festival, ranging from collectable merchandise to one-of-a-kind treasures.
…AND ENTERTAINMENT WITH A ‘BUZZ’!
The entertainment schedule features over 30 different film, television, print, and art. Dedicated to enhancing the festival experience, QUATRE CON’s stages offer an eclectic array of educational programs in film production, art, performance, publishing, paranormal studies. Along with unique presentations such as The Ladies of the Evil Dead, Slashers Unmasked, Working in the Stars, and exclusive panel discussions.
OUR COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT IS OUTSTANDING…
One of the most important elements in the success of the Quatre Con New Orleans is the strong show of support from the community. Quatre Con New Orleans staff members, contractors and employees, have extensive experience in managing events such as the ESPN X-Games, San Francisco Chronicle Fourth of July Fireworks & Waterfront Music Festival, 2009 Toyota Championship Winter Dew Tour, also local festivals such as the Harmony Festival, San Francisco’s Fleet Week, The Great Dickens Christmass Festival, and KFOG Kaboom.
